We took 8 of our junior women to the Schools Head on 17th March. Starting 201 out of 337 crews they smashed down the championship course in a time of 22.33.1. The crew was made up of 8 women currently studying at Mayfield Grammar School, racing in a boat which was brought by the school.
It was a miserable rainy and windy day for waiting on the river but the crew did really well. Thanks to their PE teacher and GRC captain Matthew Johnson for taking the trailer and supporting the team throughout the day.
