Gravesend took 13 crews to Lea on the 23rd April to smash down the 650m course. We had a strong presence of junior crews at this event with them representing 9 of the entries which was fantastic to see, all the way from J14 up to J17!
Our WJ164+ of Matilda Osborne, Kathryn Douse, Melisa Jaku Filakova and Julia Ciuche (cox Keeva Goldsworthy) had a winning time of 2.25
Our adults also put in a strong performance with Matt Johnson taking home the MasA/B 1X and James Wilkinson, Ethan Page, Matt Johnson and Joseph Hinks (cox Lily Harris) winning the Op4x+
Thanks to Lea for a wonderfully organised day full of entertaining races where the weather held off just long enough for us to avoid any soggy rowers. Look out for us next at Peterborough in June!
