On the 10th and 11th June we took three of our (young) Masters to race at the National Water Sports Centre, Holme Pierrepont Country Park in Nottingham for a 1000m sprint.
On a windy, but warm, hot and sunny weekend we had two crews enter the championship rounds on day 1:
- Matt Johnson, OpMasA 1x who came 3rd in his category
- Caitlin Page and Amelia Page, WMasA 2x won their championship category to become the Women’s Masters A (aged 27 to 35) British National Champions Double.
Day 2 took the tired legs of Caitlin Page and Matt Johnson to race the course again in a non-championship event of MxA-C NC 2x coming 2nd in their category.
A huge congratulations to our crews, as well as those of Medway who kindly offered to trailer our boats up!
